When Planet Organic Market decided to grow beyond its long-time Edmonton home, it knew it needed to stand out in an extremely crowded and competitive category. We strengthened the emotional connection to the brand by speaking in a unique way that emphasized the company’s deep values. One example was its commitment to 100% organic produce with no compromises, unlike competitors that had some, but not all organic produce. The new brand was applied to communications ranging from advertising, direct mail, online and digital, in-store, private labeling, human resources, charity, and even a cookbook.

Results: Double-digit weekly comp sales, traffic increases, and average expenditures and national expansion over a seven-year period of working together.
