A non-profit organization, the Sarahuaro Foundation is devoted to supporting impoverished women and children in the Los Cabos region of Mexico. A paradise for the wealthy with a variety of luxury resorts and hotels lining its beaches, Los Cabos’ extravagance is not shared by the local community, many of whom live in extreme poverty.
Domestic abuse of women and children is common in this area; teen pregnancies in the region are among the highest in the world per capita, and women often raise their children alone. As a result, most women do not complete their high school education or learn essential job skills, and their children often go hungry. In an attempt to break the cycle of poverty and allow women and children to thrive, Sarahuaro offers meals, support, and career development education. To help tell Sarahuaro’s story in a compelling manner and increase understanding and support for the cause, we travelled to Los Cabos to create a series of poignant videos, revitalize the brand, and develop a new website for the organization.
