During a Crisis
As Covid-19 took hold, Connect Hearing knew it had to reach out to customers and prospects. As the leading physician-referred hearing health provider in Canada, Connect Hearing’s business is about helping people stay connected. The challenge? How to do this at a time of isolation, fear, and safety protocols.
The solution? Connect Hearing needed to serve its customers, not sell them. H2 worked with Connect Hearing to craft a message that reflected on the loss of human connection during the pandemic. We also wanted to remind people that Connect Hearing was there to help anyone having issues with their hearing or hearing technology – Connect Hearing client or not. We created a :60 spot to take advantage of increased TV and online viewership. Working remotely and on a limited budget, we used simple animation, a compelling voiceover and emotive music track to go from concept to delivery in under 2 weeks.
Results: The objective was to maintain awareness, not lead generation. Yet calls to Connect Hearing remained strong as did traffic to the website despite a smaller media spend, proving once again that brand leadership in challenging times matters, and is effective.
