The Role

We’re in search of a President who embodies our mission to engage audiences in brave new ways. This role is at the forefront of our agency, steering the ship through the evolving digital landscape with an eye for the extraordinary. You’re responsible for the leadership and management of a team that’s not afraid to dive deeply into new technologies, unlocking our clients’ full potential with big ideas and the latest digital tools. Reporting to Dan Dagg, our CEO, this is a role for a visionary ready to ensure the execution of our strategic vision, maintain our financial success and elevate our industry credibility.

Key Responsibilities

People & Culture

As President, you’ll cultivate a culture that embodies our vision, mission, and values across all employee experiences. You’ll create strategies to attract, retain, and motivate top talent, making H2 an employer of choice. You’ll mentor a diverse, high-performing team to fuel creativity and productivity, ensuring every member feels valued and inspired.

Operations & Growth

You’ll lead daily operations across departments, aligning activities with our company goals and client requirements. You’ll ensure compliance with legal and industry standards while achieving financial targets. Additionally, you’ll craft and implement strategies for sustainable growth, harnessing technology and industry trends to propel us forward.

Client Recruitment & Retention

Your role will involve building and nurturing strong client relationships, executing marketing strategies, and effectively resolving issues. You’ll lead new business initiatives, pitch to potential clients, and secure opportunities. Overseeing ad campaigns and mediating resolutions will be key to maintaining satisfaction among key accounts.

Departmental Supervision & Mentoring

1. Creative

  • Establish creative department goals and objectives, overseeing the development and execution of innovative campaigns and projects.
  • Provide oversight to the department, providing guidance and mentorship to foster creativity, collaboration, and excellence.
  • Collaborate with clients and account services to ensure creative solutions meet client needs and objectives.

2. Media

  • Establish media department goals and objectives, guiding the execution of media plans and campaigns across various channels.
  • Provide oversight and support to the media department through the media director to ensure department goals are met.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and innovations, supporting the adoption of new media technologies and approaches.

3. Account Services

  • Establish client service department goals and objectives, ensuring exceptional service delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Provide oversight and support to the department through the VP of client engagement.
  • Provide mentorship and support to help drive client success and retention.

4. Finance and Admin

  • Set financial goals and objectives, overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes.
  • Provide oversight of the finance and admin department, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and internal controls.
  • Provide strategic guidance and support to optimize financial performance and drive operational efficiency.

Required Experience

  • Extensive C-suite experience, preferably in an agency or digital marketing environment.
  • Proven track record of translating strategy into successful execution.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and lead diverse teams across multiple locations.
  • Familiarity with agency systems and technologies, including Workamajig, Asana, and Google Suite.
  • Established industry contacts and client connections, particularly in Calgary.
  • Proficiency in current and emerging technology tools and trends within the industry.


Our head office is in Victoria, British Columbia, with a satellite office in Calgary, Alberta. This role offers a hybrid work model, blending in-office dynamism with the flexibility of remote work.
